The principal purpose of the job is to perform the duties needed to produce HDPE Conduit. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for safely starting up and shutting down of line.
  • Match the job order to print on the pipe and ensure that it is printing correctly (includes color, strip, tape, and print).
  • Visually inspect the pipe being produced and make sure that it is straight on the reel.
  • Make sure footage is correct on reel, that it is tied down correctly.
  • Perform visual inspection throughout process.
  • Keep area clean of debris and orderly and keep eye out for potential safety hazards.
  • Clearly understand and follow safety protocol for running line.
  • Run pelletizer machine as needed.
  • Safely operate grinding machine, set up auto pullers, adjust controls to start/stop machine.
  • Handle material, refill bins, move material around facility, ensure line is stocked adequately.
  • Cross trained to learn necessary duties on line or in department.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
